Destinations

Travelling to different destinations is a way of life for us, individually it has always been a passion. Sue’s life goal is to always have travelled to more countries than her age. Between us we have visited over 70 countries, and together (as a couple) we’ve visited eleven.

When the global pandemic put a halt to our overseas travel plans, we bought a 4×4 Sprinter Cargo Van and converted it into our tiny home on wheels. In January 2021 we set off to travel around Australia. We’ve been travelling slowly, stopping to work when funds run low, and trying to get out into nature hiking, biking and kite-surfing whenever we can.

Although we’re both itching to get back to overseas travel, we really want to see as much of Australia as we can while we have the van, as it’s such a great way to travel.

We really believe that travel is an amazing way to learn not only about the world, different cultures, different landscapes and people, but also a great way to learn about oneself. The travels we undertook as young adults definitely shaped the people we have become today.

Sharing our experiences (the highlights and the realities), we hope to inspire you to see more of the world, even if it’s only the next town or state!
